  1. It's in the quiet crucible of your personal private sufferings that your noblest dreams are born and God's greatest gifts are given in compensation for all you've been through. Thank you Jesus. It's well with my soul. YES IT IS Mr. Wintley Phipps!

  2. Surrender All to Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. "It Becomes Well With Ones Soul! Here I Am Lord! Send Me!

  3. I LOVE THIS SONG SOOO MUCH!! Mr. Wintley Phipps, are you the ADA pastor? You sound like him. If you are, I want to tell you. We always listen to ur radio preaching and we love it. Also to ur singing. My husband called you. Fire something something PASTOR. UR singing sounds alot like him. I hope you are. AMEN.

  4. I had the honor of hearing Mr Phipps singing at Hanson Place SDA Church in Brooklyn in October 2018. He is truly a Blessing,

  5. I certainly love the message of this wonderful old song. Wintley Phipps is a fine singer. I am sure he loves the Lord. I will give it a thumbs up with somewhat of an understanding, I believe, as to why to over 1000 downvotes. It certainly isn't the song. It certainly isn't the singer. It's the complete pretentiousness of this once wonderful organization. I will let God be the judge, but God will allow me to use the gift of discernment. It's there for all who ask. Notice the advertisement concerning the full-length DVD/CD, without saying anything about why they do this. For many, it may be introducing people to the Lord, at least to those who can pay. Jesus chased the money changers from the temple for a reason. May God's Love be greater than those who exploit HIM for filthy lucre. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

  6. This is one of the greatest songs ever written, and Wintley Phipps has an immaculate voice, but I am so sick and tired of singers cutting out the gospel in this song. So many singers will omit the 2nd and 3rd verse. The 2nd goes like this "Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,

    Let this blest assurance control,

That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,

And hath shed His own blood for my soul. "
then the 3rd verse goes like this "My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought

My sin, not in part but the whole,

Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, o my soul"
See there is a progression to this song it starts personal then goes to where his strength is found when saten hits him on the face, then it goes to the cross where he knows he is saved from his sin, then it goes into eternity in the 4th and final verse. Gospel singer please stop mutilating this song!
