TELUS | Managing Notifications in the SmartHome Portal


(upbeat music) – [Narrator] Notifications
allow assigned users to be notified when a specific action happens on the system, like the triggering of an alarm or sensor. To manage notifications, first log in to the Telus Smart Home account portal. On the default home screen,
in the left navigation panel, select notifications to switch
to the notification screen. To create an alarm notification, click New Notification and
select Alarm from the list. On the new page, you can
rename the notification and select the alarm type as well as what sensor reported it. Next, click Add Recipient, select the recipients in the address book by adding check marks beside their name and then click Close. Then click Save. To create a sensor notification, click New Notification,
and select Sensor Activity from the list. On the new page, you can rename the notification and select
what sensor to report as well as during what time. Selecting Notification
Filtering will allow you to further customize when
you receive notifications. Next, click Add Recipient, select the recipients in the address book by adding check marks beside their name and then click Close. Then, click Save.
