  1. 1. Put on a helmet.
    2. Put on metal meshed gloves.
    3. Load the tranquilizer dart in your gun.
    4. Set up a deer hunting stand close to the water bowl…
Make sure to camouflage the area.
They may figure out your plans and scratch your eyes out.
    5. Wait for kitty to get thirsty.
    6. Shoot kitty with traqulizing dart.
    7. Be ready to run because this will make kitty a little upset.
    8. Hopefully the drug will take effect before it reaches you and…scratches you eyes out.
If it reaches you before the effects of the drug, curl up in the fetal position making sure to cover your vital organs.
    9. Once the drugs have their effect DO NOT APPROACH the kitty…
First poke with a wooden spoon to make sure your safe to proceed with groomimg.

Please read the above instructions like its completely feasible…just like Mr. Easy Peasy in the video.
That way you may convince yourself that everything will go well and kitty wont…yes you guessed it, scratch your eyes out.

  2. "…and need some form of sedation needed." Grammatically incorrect. Either "need some form of sedation" Or "some form of sedation is needed."

  3. If you need to give medicine to your cat mix it with CHICKEN BABY FOOD, easy and pleasurable for your cat, non of the non sense up to step number 9 seems ok to me. Try a spoon of chicken baby food trust me.

  4. lol this is the most ridiculous "how to" I have ever seen.
Put your cat in a pillow case, restrain it, shove a pill in it's mouth, hold its head up, rub it's throat and then let it out of the pillowcase.
ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzoooooooooooooooom…. cat bolts on to the road and gets hit by a car. There, cat sedated. Any more questions?

  5. I use 1.5 mil of melatonin and mix it in a little gravy for him to eat..it is a sleep aid for humans but works for anxiety in cats

  6. Give the cat as much fatty chicken as it can eat. Then, when 'fatty chicken' sedated, wrap up in a towel (cat burrito).

  7. LMFAO there must be a step missing if you think I can just put my cat in a pillow case. God almighty this was the funniest thing I've ever seen

  8. I'm a groomer and wtf!!! You dont need to put the damn cat into a pillow case to give it a pill. Scruff the cat, tilt its head up, put pill in and rub throat.

  9. this person think we are totally stupid.. read the instruction from your vet… place cat on a pillow…and the way that voice goes …I am not listen till the end ha ha ha!

  10. O h that is so silly! Just put it in a bit of food and put it on her nose. She will easily lick her nose right off!. Or you can put it on a bit of food and put it into the middle of one paw and she will lick it off in a few minutes. This technique always works with no drama and nobody gets hurt.

  11. I AM SURE IT IS WONDERFUL. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A FERAL. I ADOPTED A FEARAL CAT BUT DID NOT KNOW IT WAS FERAL AND HE WAS NICE FOR ABOUT 24-36 HOURS SINCE THEN I CAN'T GO NEAR HIM. IT IS OVER A MONTH. I HAVE TO GET A HAVE A HART TRAP I WAS HOPING THERE WAS SOMETHING I COULD DO TO AVOID THIS. I DON'T WANT TO TRICK MY CAT. BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE. I SHOULD HAVE ASKED QUESTIONS. BUT MOM HAD DIED TEN DAYS BEFORE ANDI I WAS NOT THINKING.

I ALSO SHOULD HAVE ASKED TO HOLD THE CAT. THIS BUDDY WOULD NOT PROBABLY LET ME HOLD HIM EVEN ON THE FIRST DAY WHEN HE SEEMED FINE. THEY MUST HAVE SEDATED HIM SOMEHOW.

  12. Compounding pharmacies will make liquid forms of meds for animals. Ask your vet if they work with any compounding pharmacies. I know mine did and they were able to make up fish flavored liquid tramadol to use with a syringe for the administration. It was so much more humane. Even if it’s a short course, a long term medication needed, or for pain relief, cats need special care compared to dogs, who can take a pill in peanut butter or cheese. The pill pocket treats are great for dogs. But when my dog got cancer and had trouble swallowing, we used the compounding pharmacy for beef flavored tramadol. I never knew about compounding pharmacies until my veterinarian suggested it. I am sharing this information as an option, to inform you so that you can ask your vet if they don’t offer the information.

  13. The below comments…still LingMAO!!!!! I would have to sedate myself first before trying to put any of my cats in a pillowcase. I can't even picture it. And my cats hold a grudge…they would NEVER forget it if I could even manage it once and be pissed at me for a year!

  14. BS!  I trained my cats from babies to LOVE grooming.  After,  then all I had to do was, sit on the floor, tap the comb and brush on the floor, call for them, then where ever they were, they would come running and lay on the floor, out stretched waiting for their grooming to begin.  They always loved it without any of what this video says to do!  Simple!

  15. My vet gave me low dose xanax for my cat I end up taking all of them, decided for aromatherapy, next time pick aromatherapy 🙂

  16. Here's what I do: I get him in a sitting position. From behind him, I tip his head up as the video shows, and open his mouth. I drop the pill as far back as I can and immediately lick him on the nose while holding his mouth closed. His first reflex is to lick his nose, swallowing the pill at the same time. It is almost stress free and has never failed me.

  17. WRONG!! ITS BETTER TO USE A BIG HEAVY TOWEL. it stops them from taking off. get it over top of them(head area also, so they cant see you ready to pounce on them) on the floor, roll them in it, gentiy binding their body and feet as it rolls them up in it. then exposing their grimacing little face, smooth it over with the kitty with some puddy talk and a little rub down in the towel and they ease up enough to make shaving manageable. doing it in a large box container of some kind and extra hands are always a plus. I have a very difficult stubborn bigboy, and this works well with him. i think hes a cat, hes so big, could be a bobcat, looks like one, or maybe a chihauhua, well anywho, pillowcase would not go over well with him.( im subscribed now. you did manage to cover a broad amount of info in a short segment.Good work thanks for the suggested recommendations. found a few options to try). Note: if a cat has anti-social feral tendencies. i recommend a veterinarian groomer. theyll know how to handle it. i had one cat had to be put under to be shaved.

  18. if your cat is too hyper to be clipped………talk to your vet about medicating. Never guess what will calm down your cat. Some benzodyazapeme drugs will make a cat more hyper/ be careful.

  19. I think I did it wrong now I feel horrible… he looked at me as if I betrayed him and ran off… I'm pissed.he'll probably never trust me around his food again. I should have watched this first.
