so recently I conducted this ball what would prevent you for making your fresh meal for your dog at home when the results from the poll came back the biggest piece to the puzzle was making sure that you have a balanced recipe people were terrified of not getting it right second biggest issue we see is people don't have times they think it's really complicated or that you have to buy a lot of supplements to help balance the diet that saddens me it saddens me because I know that balancing foods for ourselves and for our pets isn't really that complicated most people say they want a really easy recipe so we put together a nutritionally complete recipe that will meet all your healthy adult dogs nutritional needs that would be fully balanced that you'd be able to get in your car drive to your local grocery store and find the ingredients there to help inspire you to want to research more all right let's get started now grab a bowl for you foodies out there just take a look at the center of the screen but for you nutrition buffs want to check out what's under the hood of these foods take a look at a side panel grab 14 ounces of ground beef that you can find in your local grocery store really easy everything in red is deficient but it has to be lean ground beef dogs have a really high amino acid requirement next grab two teaspoons of hemp seed oil or three tablespoons of hemp seeds this balances the fats now to add half a teaspoon of Carlsen's called liver oil or half a can of sardines that meets vitamin D and E requirements now I'd have a teaspoon of ginger which is packed with ligament supporting manganese next comes kelp this little green monster is packed with iodine let's supercharge it with one egg but hold on to half of that shell 30 seconds in and halfway done now grab that egg shell ground eggshell meats calcium requirements for adult dog but not for puppy's liver provides copper zinc and iron veggies add antioxidants phytonutrients and enzymes and fiber and voila you have a balanced meal for you beginners out there these are simple easy ingredients but the more you research the more you're going to hear about nutrient-rich superfoods like mussels and tripe chicken wings heart organs and many other food groups mix it all together and you have a complete meal you're welcome to cook the meal you can serve it warm or you can feed it raw you can also package the food and freeze it for you sleep this is just one example of how easy it can be to beat a fresh food meal to your dog look of course when making these recipes there's always a better way to do it if you're buying things that are organic or ethically raised genetically modify for yes by all means do it but do your best whatever you can do that can get you closest to making something ideal that's the most important thing is it be starting somewhere we all need a starting point be dr. 1. I wish I could do this but it would cost me $952 a month to feed my dogs this.

I have 2 Basset Hounds. One 60 lbs and one 45 lbs. between the two they need 3,238 calories a day which is about 5 servings of this a day. After googling the prices on the ingredients and breaking it down into the ounces and how much per ounce it’s $34 a day to feed my two dogs this.

I wish I could but I’m a bartender. That’s more than I spend on rent. And I currently feed them Acana which is almost $100 a bag.

    Maybe one day.

  2. @Rodney Habib So my husky is been over a month on this exact receipe and she loves it so I believed until today ?. So today I decided to do a little test I took some of her old food Nutro Max and her Raw food balanced diet and to my surprise she choose the kibble to the point of not caring for the raw food anymore and started begging for her old food. So my question is why does she prefer the kibble it saden me because I thought to my self are we feeding her what she wants or what we want her to eat! So I'm in the middle of a emotional conundrum and I need some advice on what to do continue with her raw diet or go back to what she use to eat (kibble) and apparently witch she loves. Also is there a psychological problem to this?

  3. My dog should be eating less than a pound a day, which is what this recipe makes. Is she still getting complete nutrition if I make this recipe, but give her half a day?

  4. Hi.
First of all…too much vegetables. It should not be more then one ts.Dog are carnivours and can not digest large amount of vegetables.Also..half egg shell is not enough calcium for your dog.It is not the same kind of calcium as it is found in chichen bones. You can add egg shels but chichen bones should be # 1 source of calcium.

  5. Hello all! Please help! To research which dog food is best for dogs and puppies is not easy, millions of dog food brands and products in the market and hard to know which of them is real best and safe. I got my puppy just this year, we tried pedigree blue buffalo canned food, but we heard that its really bad for puppies, so I tried the blue freedom canned food he eats few of it only, then blue wilderness canned food but he eats few only, then I tried the blue buffalo dried food for him the pink one packaging, he doesn't like to eat it, so I tried to put his dried blue buffalo in the blender to make it powdery so i can mix it with his canned foods. He started to have mild vamit, but I still gave him that foods in one month while searching which puppy food is best for him. It's painful to see him vamiting even though its mild, then one day I found a dog in a stranger car because that dog was barking, then when I saw the owner, we talked a little and I asked her what dog food she feed her, she said that its iams, so the iams is started in my mind. But before that, I talked to my puppy's vet and asked her what dog food I can give to my puppy, she recommended me the royal canin dried food, iams, or purina proplan dried food, then I emedeitely bought the iams canned food and royal canin dried food for small poodle puppy, then I feed that food to him as his dinner at night, he eat them a little, but on the next day in the morning after I give it to him as his breakfast, he vamit twice and it seems not mild to me, so I had to stopped to feed him the iams and royal canin, my heart is so freaking breaking! I cooked hamburger with few rice for his dinner, he loves to eat it without handfeed, and no vamit, but I remember the vet told us that dried food is important because it has good nutritions in them, so on his next day I mixed his hamburger with few rice to his blue buffalo dried food, after I feed that to him, he vamit again. I did go back to his blue buffalo dried food because his vamit was mild only before, but when I feed him back with his blue buffalo seems not mild anymore. Then I called the hospital today, told them that he vamit but his not acting having sick really sick, a little lose energy only but still playful, and I asked what should I feed to my puppy, they recommended me boiled chicken with rice in few days then slowly to go back to his puppy food, if he will vamit again they will inject him to stop his vamits. Right now I'm still searching which puppy food I should give to my puppy. ? its so hard and very really not easy, I dont want him to get sick and lose him, he is just a puppy 4 months old, I want him to be always happy and healthy to live really long years. Today I bought the orijen for puppies, I opened it and let him smells it for few minutes, but not giving him yet as his food, Im giving him boiled chicken with few rice for now, Im still searching if this orijen for puppies is really safe and best. ? My puppy is a small poodle. Can somebody here tell us with honesty wich dog food is really safe and best? ? We have long travels sometimes thats why Im looking for real safe and healthy dog food.

  6. I make this every two weeks. Easy and healthy. Three tablespoons of ingredients rolled into wiener shape(thicker). Place in individual snack bags, freeze, and remove 1 pkg. in the evening, let thaw overnight, give half for breakfast and half dinner. I also make fresh rice and give about heaping tablespoon to meal.
Thanks for video, my dog skin has improved! Has 95% stopped licking and chewing areas on her paws, butt, and belly. You saved not only my dogs skin integrity, but taking to vet, for allergies. She’s like a different dog.
Afterthought: I serve meat raw with a little cooked rice, and my Maltese loves it. ? I also, as a treat..par boil (4min) beef ribs, when cooled, I cut most of the meat away from bone. Freeze meat for a snack. Freeze bones, and give as a snack (keeps tartar from teeth, and breath pleasant). This way I know what I’m giving my dog. My dog mostly stays on sofa, so when she has a bone ? I spread small towel down and there’s no soiling sofa. When she has removed all the meat from bone, and has stopped enjoying, i toss bone in trash and place towel in laundry basket. When she see me spreading towel on sofa, she is so excited.
