Hi, this is Yolanda, from vanveenbulbs.com.
Now, I have a nice, beautiful organic garden, and I try not to use any chemicals in my garden
at all, and so when I have problems with aphids, which I have had some problems in the past,
so this is just a weed, but it’s covered with aphids, so by just putting some oil on the
plant itself, I’ve found that the aphids will not survive, and it pretty much just suffocates
them. Before I even use the oil, I always make sure and get rid of all of the aphids
that I can, just using a hose, so I spray down my plants at least once a day, for three
days in a row, and if there’s still aphids on the plant, I can put a little bit of oil,
you can always put it into a spray bottle, mix it with a little bit of water, and it’s
an easy way to get rid of aphids. Oil works. Any type of oil works, because it pretty much
breaks down the little shells, that they live in, and it suffocates them, so it’s an easy
way to get rid of aphids, naturally.
