Cats With Real Jobs. Cats Employed by the Government in Russia 2019

if you like please subscribe welcome to the largest valign employment agency me our recruitment limited we're here today to meet with the owner mr. Skye to follow up on the employment situation of the palace cats that were had told you about in our previous movie here is today's story the palace continues to be the largest employer of the cats in Russia today it's called winter palace or Hermitage the state museum back in the day it was just a modest apartment for bazaars the luxurious interior is so mesmerizing so to see pictures like that since loaded rod let's take a brief history tour to find out why the cats are allowed nowadays to roam free among all the luxury and art the great Empress of Russia catherine ii became the founder of the museum one in 1764 she ordered 225 oil paintings for her private collection here is one of them so I don't give it what that got to do with gas and pay attention little 9 the paintings were made with oil which is a great attractant for the rodents that was the reason why the kitties and the double nopales job again oh okay I got it but what's nowadays what's the pain what's the benefits the kitties get paid by treats and food and they live in a huge basement of the museum even though nowadays they do have their entire rodent treatments the kitties are kept there because they are a national treasure now and what's more they are celebrated every year in May the museum puts on that The Hermitage cat Day celebration where people are allowed to visit the basements to see how the kiddies live meet them take pictures with them and even draw their portraits it is not easy to adopt a museum kitty after they retire from their duty each applicant is thoroughly checked to make sure they can provide the proper care for the national treasure so when you see a stray kitty today try to give it at home think about it the ancestor of this Kitty could have been the national treasure

  1. I bet it would be so fun to visit on the cats at the winter palace!! I would probably get in trouble for following them around lol. I love Nine's questions ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Wow the interior of that place is amazing!! If I was in Russia, I would definitely visit that basement!! I also want to go to Japan and visit their cat island and rabbit island!! I've seen videos of it. Thanks Holly!!

  3. We went to the hermitage and other Saint Petersburg museums a few years ago, but never saw any cats. Our town next to Moscow has many stray cats and we love feeding them. We also adopted one and sheโ€™s such a sweetheart! Nine is a gorgeous sweetheart ?

  4. This is so nice! What a wonderful Winter palace, a luxurious place especially for cats! ๐Ÿ™‚
I didnโ€™t know mice also eat oil, I only thought they eat wheat!
Museums with cats are the ones I want to visit!! Have a great day ? High paw!

Big warm hugs and unlimited blessings too. I support the smaller channels. Thanks for supporting my channel too. See you next Thursday my, friend.

  9. Great and informative series! The name of the dutch painter btw is not Franz, but Frans Hals. ๐Ÿ™‚

Please redo the video and correct that! (not) LOL!

  11. More neat cat history !! I've also heard that cats and bookstores or libraries were a thing because mice would chew on the book bindings… cats really are useful, while they're being so cute and furry. High Paw !! ??โ—
