  5. Odd to think of this guy hanging out with Waylon Jenning's and the hells angels while waylon was on tour.. He was good friends with the man and Waylon had him perform as oscar the grouch at his shows.

    I also want to mention that I sometimes have seen a Caroll Spinney look-alike at my primary grocery store.

  10. I’m 53 and started watching Sesame Street from the beginning. I watched it with my kids and now my grandkids.
    It’s very sad to see these special people and their voices pass on, but thank goodness they were here for so long! Thank you?? and may Big Bird and Oscar Rest In Peace with Caroll Spinney.

  14. Bizarre how I stumbled across this news. I was looking for a very old episode of Sesame Street with Ellen DeGeneres in it. This is the second time in the last couple of months that I have learned of a death this way. Last time I was looking up information on an old movie I used to love only to discover the main actor died just two days before.
