Abused Pit Bull Puppy Discovers That His Rescuer Is Adopting Him

when an animal is first rescued removing them from the abusive lifestyle is just the first step towards saving their life they face not only a long road to physical recovery but a period of learning to trust and open up to humans again as well arguably the most difficult journey for all rescue animals is finding the perfect forever home or a place where they can finally be loved and cared for this is even more true for pets who have noticeable physical ailments and psychological problems when this three month old pitbull puppy was removed from a home with terrible living conditions he had a severe case of mange and was in horrible physical shape it was clear that he had endured a serious abuse and neglect Joey Wagner who created a non-profit animal rescue organization in Nova Scotia Canada a few years ago quickly stepped in and rushed the pup to an animal hospital if the veterinarians didn't act fast there was a chance that the poor dog could lose his life the puppy who they later named mojo began a slow but steady recovery adoption requests came pouring in but the sinner could not consider regular adoptions because of the severity of his condition mojo needed special care sadly the care that mojo needed in order to properly recover from his ailments was far too great to allow him to be adopted by any regular person just yet it was going to take someone special coming along for him to be released and wouldn't you know it as soon as Joey heard the news that mojo wouldn't be allowed to go home with just any owner he decided that it would be best for him to step up to the plate so he headed to the vet where mojo was recovering as soon as mojo saw Joey walk into the room where he was having a routine exam it was clear that he recognized the man who had saved him just look at the little pitbull puppy give his hero all kisses and hugs the day that mojo was finally well enough to leave the vet was likely the greatest day of his entire life and the same could be said of Joey it was irresistibly sweet and the story gets even better from there see the way neither party can stop smiling when they reunited today at 4 years old mojo is happier and healthier than he's ever been even though his coat never fully returned he still loves cuddling up to furry friends in his new forever home with Joey how could anyone not love him so cute thanks to this man's quick thinking and compassion mojo story has a beautiful and heartwarming ending hopefully things will continue to improve for him from here share this touching story with your friends below
